The Twitter Papers shocked the world this week. After a cascade of revelations regarding censorship, ex-Twitter staffers have had their credibility shredded.

The files (previously hidden in the dark vaults of Twitter HQ) allegedly show how the platform censored tweets, articles and blacklisted accounts to protect certain individuals and serve a political bias. If true, this would constitute censorship on a nearly unprecedented scale, so it had to be our cover story for the week. 

Dudly came up with an innovative way to show the data being destroyed. He suggested a series of emojis being fed through a paper shredder and disintegrated. Each emoji represents a different type of data and the shredder takes the form of a paper craftwork Twitter logo. The assets were created in AI and then the textures/shadow effects added in Photoshop. We made a few finishing touches in After Effects and then incorporated some suitable sounds.
The result is a simple cover that perfectly encapsulates the terrifying idea of online censorship with a creative twist. We wait in anticipation for the next shocking edition of ‘The Twitter Papers,’ which will likely bring further bombshells.

Gazette asked whether Gigamart will be the NFT exchange that (finally) kills OpenSea, explored how NFTs are reshaping the world of e-commerce and got to know Godmin (artist, scientist and universe creator).
