Cover Story

Redlion Party

100 weeks of Redlion Gazettes have passed and this called for an absolute party. You didn’t ask for it but we are giving it to you, in the most beloved form of NFTs!

As much as we were excited about issue 100 we also wanted something that would excite our audience. We wanted to do something to give in return to those who had supported the journey up until now and we know will continue to do so. The idea came in a long while ago but destiny had timed it to reach its closing stages as we celebrate our 100th issue and 1 year anniversary a month from now. We wanted to give you frens a beloved collection of Redlion PFPS. One not out of desperation but out of the pure joy of having a community that will use them to connect and rejoice in Web 3.

Currently, we are not in a position to reveal the PFPs so bear with me on this and imagine the parts that are dressed in obscurity. On the drawing board, we tried to come up with several ideas as to how to show this teaser for the upcoming release of PFP collection. After several discussions, we stumbled upon a great concept– a never-ending festival. A festival is where many different types of people come together to enjoy and participate in the many little joys this world has to offer, forgetting most of what’s bad about it. This idea resonated with us and what we stand for. The reggae techno nature of this set has its roots in Red’s playlist.

Dudley took over the reins and built the rave setting and we sourced all our PFPs’ silhouettes in order to show a sneak peek into what’s in store for you all. Though to the untrained eyes it may look like simple animation, it required arduous efforts behind the scenes. The scene is filled with several Redlion elements as we believe the party organizer was a big fan of ours.

This environment is only a small region of a larger festival area where many things are happening and many kinds of people have arrived. You will soon see who these characters and we at Redlion are super-duper excited for you to find out the stories behind the traits.

We’re keeping it short so we don’t spill too many of the beans! Catch y’all next week as we enter the long 3-digit run!
