Agni is a landscape and travel photographer from India. He takes great pride in capturing the real emotions of people as well as the beautiful colors of nature. Photography for him is a catalyst for exploring some of the most beautiful places and a means to express himself to the world. His works have been featured in multiple national and international media and received multiple awards.



The long journey towards the complete Merge continues, as we all keeps our hopes and ETH hodled. How will it all turn out to be– good or bad? Nevertheless, the journey will be worth it.

The Merge Road

We couldn’t publish any articles this week as we continued to restructure and reorganise RedLion news. This meant that our cover artist Amal had free reign to get creative. He settled on ‘The Merge Road.’ Everybody was hodling tight to their ETH (and hope!) as the long-awaited Merge drew ever nearer.

This seemed like a great opportunity to give MidJourney a try. The software creates AI-powered generative art, which we used as a concept for the cover. Dudley created a series of sketches based on prompts from MidJourney. The cover was taking shape. It would show a winding road towards a giant ETH crystal - a perfect representation of the journey towards the Merge. 

A Moebius style landscape seemed to fit the bill perfectly, but these fantastical-yet-minimalistic pieces aren’t easy to create! Amal experimented with different palettes, tweaked the sketch and then got to work on the final render. 

Dudly made a few last adjustments to bring all the disparate elements together and then it was on to the animation. We felt that this should be kept simple, so we added a parallax zoom. Fires twinkle in the middle distance and pilgrims tread their path towards the giant ETH symbol floating in the sky. 

‘Perplexed Mind’ by Agni (a landscape and travel photographer from India) was the ArtDrop for this issue. The portrait of Roudra Bheema explores all the difficulties, conflicts and complexities that he experienced before murdering his brother Duryodhana.
