This self-taught digital artisan utilizes impressive loops to directly represent his very own mental images in gif format generating a hypnotic visual mantra. 

Understanding the web as the new street, Crego also collaborates with many street artists in a bid to give motion to their pieces in these new digital walls. He is considered one of the pioneers of street art gifs. 

He also works with Augmented Reality apps, playing with the newborn "digital public space" and making questions about the concept of museums, art, and even reality. 

For Crego, gif format is not only a way of creating and watching art but a new way of thinking.

Issue #38 was published on Sunday 6th of June 2021, week 22 of the year. The iconic cover was made by Dudly and it’s a fan favorite.
This iteration of the Gazette came out during a lull for the NFT space, and critics rushed to declare NFTs dead and canceled. In contrast to traditional media going for the “NFTs are dead” narrative, we chose to display the opposite with a strong message “NFTs ARE NOT DEAD” embedded on our cover.

We covered the heated Twitter debate where BAYC was racing to flip Meebits. We showed this with a Meebit and an Ape pointing guns at each other. Eventually, of course, we all know BAYC “won” that battle.

Overall, a strong message was delivered by yet another amazing illustration by Dudly.
