This week’s cover is a nice goochie Crypto Dickbutt in the middle of the jungle surrounded by some obedient Dickbutts performing their sexual tantrums and possibly checking their sizes thrice a day.

The Big Bang

Issue #101 went to mint on Sunday 21st August with a cover dedicated to the one and only CryptoDickbutts collection.
Dickbutts might have started as a joke but that joke gets more serious by the day: these creatures are taking over the NFT Space! We wanted them to take over this week’s cover too. After settling on the idea of a giant Dickbutt in a jungle setting (surrounded by 10 loyal acolytes) we delved into the CDB Discord for assistance.
Although we only asked for 10 Dickbutts to use on the cover, the community was exceptionally generous and offered up many more. Due to cover size constraints, we sadly had to leave a few CDBs behind. Next, we moved on to the illustration phase, employing a Disney-style colour palette to give the scene some vibrancy and “pop.”
The animation was a detailed affair as we added frame-by-frame movements for the Dickbutts and the surrounding environment. Last but certainly not least we added some…“suggestive” sound effects. This cover certainly had one of our most distinctive and “evocative” soundscapes yet.

Gazette led with an analysis of CrypoDickbutt’s meteoric rise to NFT immortality. Elsewhere we also took a look at the murky world of crypto laundering and explored how Metaverse gaming is gaining a foothold in South East Europe.
This week’s ArtDrop was ‘To The Moon’ by Yagamiii. Inspired by the inner child in all of us, it encourages you to follow your dreams all the way to the moon!
